Mylestones finds work that works for you
As an Inclusive Employment Australia provider, Mylestones Employment supports eligible people with disability, injury or a health condition to find and keep meaningful work.
Our support can include career advice, employment preparation, resume development, training, job searching and ongoing assistance in the workplace.

Types of support
To make sure you get the right help at the right time, our services are delivered in different ways depending on your needs:
- Pre-employment support - helping you prepare for work with training, skills development and job readiness activities.
- Intensive services - providing tailored, one-on-one support if you need more hands-on assistance to get job-ready and find the right role.
- Flexible services - ongoing support that adapts to your circumstances, whether you're building confidence, starting a new job, or needing adjustments to stay in work.

Pre-Employment Support
Pre-Employment Support helps you build the skills and confidence needed to find and maintain meaningful work. It focuses on overcoming both vocational and non-vocational barriers to employment.
Most people begin their journey with Inclusive Employment Australia through Pre-Employment Support. You may return to Pre-Employment Support to receive further assistance. Our Intensive Service is designed for those who are ready to actively engage in employment-related activities.

Intensive Service
To tailor support to each person's unique needs, the Intensive Service includes two key phases, work preparation and job search.
Phase 1: Work Preparation
Work preparation supports people who are not yet ready for full job search activities.
The focus is on:
- Building work readiness
- Addressing vocational and non-vocational barriers
- Participating in preparation activities like training, skill development, and confidence-building
- You may also engage in light job search tasks, but the emphasis remains on preparation.
Phase 2: Job Search
Job Search supports people who are ready to actively look for work.
Support includes:
- Engaging in job search activities
- Gaining work experience and paid opportunities
- Receiving job referrals to suitable open employment
- Activities in this phase aim to improve employability and helps you find and maintain employment.

Flexible Service
Our Flexible Service supports people who aren’t quite ready for the Intensive Service.
It’s designed for individuals who:
- Are partially meeting their Centrelink Mutual Obligation Requirements through activities like paid work, education, training, or volunteering
- Are addressing significant employment barriers through vocational or non-vocational supports
- Are exempt or suspended from participation requirements but choose to stay connected voluntarily
- Face personal or family challenges, such as caring responsibilities or complex barriers, that limit intensive engagement
- Or experience a combination of these factors

We will work closely with you to deliver the most appropriate services, considering your unique needs, current capacity, and existing supports.
Once you are ready to engage more fully, you'll be transitioned to the Intensive Service to continue your employment journey.
